the developer of the DePaul Em School Yerravaram app ("App"),
collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App.

We collect the following information when you use the DePaul Em School Yerravaram app:
- Account credentials — mobile number used for SMS OTP authentication; a unique device identifier (UUID) generated on first install for device binding
- Student information — name, class, date of birth, gender, blood group, address (read from your school's records)
- Contact information — parent/guardian mobile number
- Financial information — fee payment history and receipt details
- Attendance records — daily attendance status
- Academic records — exam marks and homework details
- Device information — device type and operating system version (for app compatibility)
2. How We Use Your Information
The information collected is used solely to:
- Authenticate your identity and provide secure access to the DePaul Em School Yerravaram app
- Display your child's academic, attendance, and fee information
- Process fee payments through the integrated payment gateway (Razorpay)
- Send notifications regarding fees, homework, and school announcements
- Improve the performance and reliability of the App
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- School administration — student and payment data is shared with DePaul Em School Yerravaram to maintain records
- Payment processor — when you make a fee payment, transaction details are shared with Razorpay to process the payment securely
- Legal requirements — if required by law or a valid government order
4. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously:
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
- Authentication tokens are stored in encrypted storage on your device (Android EncryptedSharedPreferences)
- Access tokens expire automatically and are rotated on each session
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as DePaul Em School Yerravaram's account is active on the platform.
When the school's subscription ends, data is retained for 90 days before being permanently deleted,
unless a longer retention period is required by law.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is used to view information about students, including minors. Student data is provided by
and managed by DePaul Em School Yerravaram's administration. Parents and guardians access their
child's information through verified parent accounts linked by the school. We do not knowingly
allow minors to create independent accounts without school-verified parental consent.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data (contact your school administration)
- Deletion — request deletion of your mobile account via our account deletion page or by contacting us at the email below
- Opt-out — uninstall the App at any time; this does not affect your school records
8. Third-Party Services
The DePaul Em School Yerravaram app integrates with the following third-party services:
- Razorpay — payment processing
- smslogin.mobi — SMS OTP delivery (your mobile number is transmitted to this service solely to send the one-time password)
These services have their own privacy policies and data practices that are independent of ours.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes
by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after
changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
